About This Wine

RSRV Blanc de Noirs 2014 is made from Pinot Noir from Verzenay, a Grand Cru grown to the north of the Montagne de Reims. The minerality that typifies this terroir produces a clear, full-bodied Pinot Noir, giving this vintage an elegant aromatic complexity. After six years aging in cellars minimum, and a minimal dosage of six grams per liter, this vintage, produced in limited quantities, is ready to be tasted.

Profile

A complex wine that reveals notes of candied fruits, quince jelly, smoky and roasted aromas, such as mocha, spicy masala chai, toasted bread, and hazelnut. A clear lively attack on the palate, due to the structure and strength of the Pinot Noir. Beautifully balanced, ending with a remarkable length with a lovely iodine mineral note.

Occasions & Pairings

This wine is a perfect match for fine charcuterie, aged Comté cheese or Parmesan, game birds and mushrooms.
