About This Wine

2008 was a special vintage that gifted us with powerful wines showing great richness and ageability.  Nowhere is this better experienced than with this exceptional release of our Brut Reserve aged sixteen years in magnums.  The extended time on the yeast softened the wine and added multiple layers of complexity.

Profile

This is a very toast-driven wine, with aromas of freshly baked pastry, red apple, and lemon curd. The palate has a lovely creaminess with notes of lemon curd and apricot leading into a long, powerful finish.

Occasions & Pairings

This is a wine for a special celebration – birthday, anniversary, promotion – or maybe a January bubbles-themed dinner party to break up the winter doldrums. Whatever you do, be sure to add cheese!
