What can I expect from Mumm Napa's safety policy?

We are excited to welcome guests back to visit our wineries and tasting rooms, while doing everything we can to stop the spread of COVID-19. Keeping our guests and staff safe and healthy is our number one priority, and we ask that all visitors to Mumm Napa follow our Safety Policy. All visitors must also be 21+ years of age.

Honoring our Safety Policy will allow us all to continue to enjoy tastings at Mumm Napa.

Our Safety Policy

Temperature Screening. Upon arrival to the winery, you will undergo a temperature screening with no-touch thermometers. Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone with a temperature of 100.4 F and above or anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, fever, shortness of breath), will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.

Masks are required. We ask that you keep your mask on at all times, except for when you are at your table and when you are enjoying your wine or food. To be respectful of other guests, always put your mask back on when stepping away from your tasting. Consistent with CDC and California Department of Health guidance, this rule applies even if patrons state they have been vaccinated. All face coverings must:

• Fully cover an individual’s nose and mouth and allow the Guest to remain hands-free

• Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face

• Be secured with ties or ear loops

• Be made of breathable material, either disposable or reusable

All tastings are by reservation only. Please call ahead if you have any changes to your party size. While we cannot guarantee additional guests will be added to reservation, if we have an available table, we will be happy to accommodate changes if the number of total guests does not exceed six people.

Party size will be limited to 6 people or less. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests and our employees. We take this responsibility very seriously, and it is why we cannot seat more than six people at a table, and we cannot add chairs to existing table configurations.

Practice social distancing. Please maintain a 6 ft physical space between yourself and others not in your immediate party.

Gatherings across table reservations in common areas are not permitted. This includes gatherings on the outdoor patio, inside our tasting room and Oak Terrace. We have learned from many years of experience that groups split between tables will inevitably congregate in various areas of the winery. Our top priority remains the health and safety of our guests and there is an increased risk of the spread of the COVID-19 virus when larger groups of people from separate households gather.

Outside food or beverages are not permitted. We offer a selection of small pairing items for you to enjoy with our wines. Please do not consume alcohol away from your designated table.

Photos. If you’d like to capture memories of the beautiful setting, here are some options that will keep everyone safe:

• There’s a picturesque spot down our pathway that makes a wonderful setting for photos. Please ask a host for directions and they would be more than happy to assist you.

• You may take photos at your assigned table on the outdoor patio or Oak Terrace, but please refrain from taking photos away from your table.

Please follow directional signage. Directions provided are designed to ensure an enjoyable experience for all of our guests.

We have the right to refuse service to anyone exhibiting signs of intoxication, is disruptive, or otherwise interferes with the safety and well-being of others.

Do you require reservations for experiences?

Yes. Reservations are required for all visits to the property, including club members, industry partners, curb-side pick-ups and bottle purchases without tastings.

How do I make a reservation for an experience?

Reservations can easily be made online HERE or by calling 866-783-5826 or email mumm_info@mummnapa.com, 9am-5pm for personal assistance any day of the week. Our hours of operation for tastings are 10am- 6pm, daily and the last reservation is at 4:45pm to allow for a 60-minute seated experience before closing. You will receive a confirmation of your reservation via email. If you are running late, we kindly ask that you call to let us know. We offer a 15-minute grace period after the reserved time before the reservation is canceled.

Can I add people to my reservation upon arrival at the winery?

Please call ahead if you have any changes to your party size. While we cannot guarantee additional guests will be added to reservation, if we have an available table, we will be happy to accommodate changes if the number of total guests does not exceed six people.

What if I am running late?

Please call if you are running late as we have a set timeframe for each reservation so that we can maintain the proper sanitizing standard in-between guests. Parties that are running more than 15 minutes late will need to reschedule.

Do you take walk-in’s?

Not at this time. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests and our employees, and reservations are required so that we can ensure appropriate social distancing. We may be able to accommodate same day reservations, when space allows, so please call 866-783-5826 to check availability.

How many people can you accommodate for an experience or tasting?

We can accommodate up to a total of 6 people per table. This includes designated drivers and anyone not participating in a tasting.

Why can we only book up to six people for a tasting?

Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests and our employees, and we take this responsibility very seriously. There is an increased risk of the spread of the COVID-19 virus when larger groups of people from separate households travel together. We want all of our guests to have a positive experience with us, which means ensuring everyone feels comfortable and safe while enjoying their tastings. We also believe this is a critical step in reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 to our employees and other guests

We have 8 guests, can we book two groups of four?

We cannot seat more than six people at a table, and we do not coordinate seating times across reservations. Our top priority is the health and safety of our guests and our employees. We take this responsibility very seriously and it is why we are only seating guests of up to six and not splitting larger parties into multiple tables. We have learned from many years of experience that groups split between tables will inevitably congregate in various areas of the winery. We believe this is a critical step in reducing the risk of spreading COVID-19 to our employees and other guests.

What if I forgot my mask/face covering?

We will provide a disposable mask to you.

I have been vaccinated; do I still need to wear a mask?

Yes. Consistent with CDC and California Department of Health guidance, masks are required and will be enforced even if patrons state they have been vaccinated.

Are children allowed at the winery?

No. Guests must be 21 years and older.

Are pets allowed?

Well-behaved dogs are allowed at our outdoor experiences. They must be on a leash at all times and are not permitted inside the tasting room or the retail shop.
When making a reservation, please book for an outdoor experience.

Do you accept cash?

We do. However, paying by credit card is highly encouraged. Gratuities are cash-only.

Should we tip our servers?

Gratuities are solely at the discretion of the guest and are cash-only. We will provide gratuity envelopes at the end of your experience should you wish to write a comment or thank your server for providing a memorable experience.

Can we picnic on your property?

Unfortunately, no.  No outside food or drinks are allowed.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that you please cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation to avoid cancellation fees. Fees vary based on experience booked. If you need to update your party size or adjust your time, please cancel your existing reservation and rebook.
