Baked Brie With Apricot Compote

You can’t go wrong this elegant crowd pleaser. Serve this baked Brie cheese with apricot compote appetizer with a Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. This pairing will harmonize a fruity attack and toasted notes with the creamy cheese, on the side the apricot compote adds a touch of sweetness.

Baked Brie With Apricot Compote

Ingredients

  • Brie cheese wheel (8-16oz)
  • ¼ cup apricot jam
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts or sliced figs

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350°F
  2. Lay brie cheese wheel, unwrapped, on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Spread apricot jam. If using walnuts or sliced figs, sprinkle or arrange on top.
  4. Serve immediately with sliced baguette or crackers.
