WINEMAKER
TAMI LOTZ
Born and raised in Napa, Tami leads our winemaking team with deep expertise in méthode traditionnelle sparkling winemaking and a lifelong love of the valley she calls home. She believes everything in life is better with bubbly and is full of unexpected ideas for everyday celebrations.
Tami completed her degree in Viticulture and Enology at UC Davis and interned at Mumm Napa. After spending a year working and learning about wine in Germany, Australia, and Chile, she returned to Mumm Napa in 2003 as assistant winemaker under Ludovic Dervin. She was named head winemaker in 2019. In addition to crafting award-winning sparkling wines, Tami loves cooking, traveling, reading, and hiking in the hills of Napa Valley. She also volunteers with Napa Country Wildlife Rescue at their Songbird Clinic.
