Matchless precision and finesse.
Maison Mumm 2009 RSRV Blanc de Noir
Reserved for a circle of insiders since 1838, Maison Mumm's exceptional champagnes epitomize the excellence of its terroir and savoir-faire. True to this heritage, RSRV represents the only collection of the 100% Grand Cru cuvees. RSRV Blanc de Noir 2009 is a champagne with a distinctive personality, characterized by elegance and aromatic complexity.
The color is a yellow robe covered with golden reflections. On the nose, dried fruits, nougat and coffee mingle with the sweetness of vanilla. The palate is of a good length and blossoms with aromas of yellow fruits, enriched with notes of nougat and honey. RSRV Blanc de Noir can be accompanied simply by dried fruit or smoked almonds. For a full pairing, try it with a light seafood appetizer, salt-crusted fish or white meat.
The summer of 2009 was hot, dry and sunny, offering ideal conditions to bring the grapes to optimum ripeness. Light showers created welcome freshness for the vines in September, immediately prior to the start of harvest. RSRV Blanc de Noirs 2009 is blended from Pinot Noir grapes from Verzenay, a Grand Cru village in the north of Montagne de Reims.
RSRV Blanc de Noir is perfect for all things seafood. For a full pairing, try it with a light seafood appetizer, salt-crusted fish or white meat.
