The vineyard lots have been carefully selected for their intensity and aging potential in the bottle, as this was wine aged for a total of seven and a half years on the fermentation lees before disgorging. “Grande Année”, meaning “Great vintage”, is produced only for some specific vintages of great fruit concentration and age-worthiness. Only 7 lots of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were selected for the final blend. The wine was disgorged as an extra-brut style and aged another six months on the cork before release.Download Fact Sheet
