2013 was a very high-quality year for sparkling wines. Only seven lots were selected for the DVX blend, and the big structure inherent to the vintage meant that less oak fermentation was used. Ten percent of the blend was fermented in older oak barrels, lending a hint of spice to the wine. The small addition of red wine to the blend shifted the personality of the wine in favor of Pinot Noir, but without sacrificing the elegance of the Chardonnay.Download Fact Sheet
